Police say they have located one of the vehicles involved in a horrific fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Scarborough last week.

Toronto Police said a 27-year-old woman was walking in the northbound lanes of Birchmount Rd., north of Anaconda Ave., on Thursday at about 9:30 p.m. when she was struck by a white cargo van and a second vehicle described as a dark SUV.

Cops said the drivers of both vehicles failed to remain at the scene of the crash.

The female, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police located the white cargo van last Friday. The dark SUV has not been located.

Investigators are looking to speak with the drivers of three vehicles that were travelling southbound on Birchmount at about 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, including a black Chevy Tahoe, a light-coloured SUV and a dark sedan.

The drivers of both suspect vehicles are still outstanding.
