Victim shot and killed near after-hours club was Brampton resident

A murder victim who was gunned down near a Toronto after-hours club has been identified as a 37-year-old Brampton man.
Toronto Police said Triston McNally was shot and killed in the Dufferin St.-Eglinton Ave. area shortly after 6 a.m.
Emergency personnel performed life-saving measures when they found McNally, but he was pronounced dead later at a hospital.

Hate crime? Woman charged for allegedly making threats
A Toronto woman has been charged after members of the Nigerian community were allegedly threatened with death.
Toronto Police say officers are treating the allegations as a hate-motivated offence.
The threats were contained in content posted online last Wednesday, according to police.
Amaka Sonnberger, 46, of Toronto has been charged with uttering threats. The allegations have not been tested in court.

Four people are expected to survive after three were shot, and the fourth suffered a stab wound, according to Peel Regional Police.
When officers responded Monday at 12:30 a.m. in the Dixie Rd.-Matheson Blvd. area, they found two men who were rushed to a hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police were later called to a hospital after two other wounded victims — one had been stabbed, the other shot — showed up for treatment.
Police said all the injuries were related to the same incident. None were life-threatening.
There was no immediate word on charges.
Two stabbings and an assault in Oshawa
A man is facing attempted murder charges after two violent stabbings and an assault in Oshawa.
Durham Regional Police officers were called to the John-Nassau St. at around 2 a.m. last Thursday after an assailant assaulted a woman and stabbed a man.
Police said the female sustained minor injuries and the male victim suffered life-threatening wounds.
No arrest was made.
Later that day — at 2:15 p.m. — police were called to the same location where officers found a stabbing victim, who was rushed to a hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Police found a suspect, who was taken into custody.
Lucais Joseph Dayton, 22, of no fixed address, faces charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault and 11 counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
