A federal inmate and rapist is back on the loose, wanted by police on a Canada-wide warrant after breaching his long-term supervision order.
Rejean Hermel Perron, 50, is described as 5-foot-2, 122 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.

He has been serving a three-year sentence for forcible confinement, sexual assault with a weapon, and use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence.
Investigators say Perron is known to frequent the Kingston, Chatham and Toronto areas.
In 2017, he pleaded guilty after brutalizing a sex worker for five days starting March 31, 2015 in his Leslieville home.
He handcuffed her, taped her mouth and her entire body until she couldn’t move, and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
According to details in an agreed statement of facts at his sentencing hearing in 2018, the victim – whose identity is protected by publication ban – remained half-naked and bound as he sexually assaulted her.
“Please don’t kill me,” she pleaded.
He showed her two guns and threatened to use them if she didn’t cooperate.
She didn’t know they were plastic.
She was forced to use a bucket to relieve herself.
When Perron wasn’t threatening her, he was painting her nails, sprinkling her with glitter, and said he wanted her to be his bride, his ‘Barbie.’
“Mr. Perron performed a marriage ceremony and put a Barbie ring on her finger,” the agreed statement read.
The traumatized woman managed to flee April 5, 2015, after Perron fell asleep after removing some restraints so she could eat.
“My life has been greatly affected by what this man has done to me,” she wrote in her victim impact statement in 2018.
“I, still to this day, have flashbacks of what happened and bad dreams but it’s something I will have to deal with the rest of my life.”

She said some flashbacks are triggered by music she heard during her five days captivity in Perron’s east end house.
“I thank God every day that I had the strength and courage to escape out of that man’s house,” the victim said.
