York Regional Police have issued an arrest warrant for Tyrone Lothian – one of the accused in Project Lookout, who was charged with gun-related offences and failing to comply with firearm prohibition orders on June 18 – for one count of failing to comply with a release order after his GPS monitoring device was removed.
Project lookout, a 14-month investigation that began in April 2023, disrupted of an alleged large-scale gun and drug trafficking network, saw 18 illegal guns seized and led to hundreds of charges being laid.
Lothian is described as standing 5-foot-11, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
He was released on bail as a result of his charges and placed on conditions, including the wearing of a GPS monitoring device.
