BMW impounded after man, 20, busted on speeding, driving drunk charges

Police have listed this as things not to do on Hwy. 401.

That includes not racing past a police cruiser while allegedly being under the influence of alcohol.

On Saturday morning, the OPP’s Highway Safety Division posted on social media about how a 20-year-old Brampton man allegedly sped past a “fully marked” Mississauga OPP police car on the 401 while under the influence.

Police said the man is facing charges for speeding and impaired operation of a vehicle.

A photo of the man’s BMW on a flatbed tow truck was also posted.

The driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days and the BMW has been impounded for two weeks.
