“On a Saturday night, I had a dream I’d won the lottery,” he told OLG. “The next morning, I told my wife about it – and then, on Monday, I found out it had come true.”
Amendola said he was at the store, scanning his second-to-last ticket, and he “had to do a double take.”
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! When I first told my wife about my dream, she laughed. But when I returned home from the store and told her I’d won big, she was at a loss for words,” he recalled.
“The next day, we went to the store together to validate my ticket. It went from a dream to reality,” Amendola explained. “How crazy is that?”
He said the win is “truly a blessing” that “couldn’t have come at a better time.”
