Next-door neighbour Kamal Dhesi said the home has multiple occupants — renters, students living in it — and a Punjabi family moved in about three months ago.
Walking around the property, windows were boarded up at the house and police tape secured a rear door to the garage.
Dhesi, who works in London, Ont., said he wasn’t sure what was happening when he returned from work late on Monday.
“Don’t stay outside, stay inside,” he said on Tuesday about what police had instructed him to do.

“We didn’t know what was going on and didn’t sleep well last night. It is such shocking news.”
Dhesi said his family bought their home just over a year ago and don’t really know who lives next door.
“In the morning, we heard a guy was shot and two females were critically injured,” he said. “So my whole family is scared now.”
At about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, he saw three stretchers coming out of the house and people being taken away in ambulances.
An aerial view provided by Google Maps shows a massive property hidden behind a huge berm that houses multiple businesses located at the rear of the house.
A massive full trucking yard at the rear belongs to the people at the house, Dhesi said.
West of the home is a business called Falcon Xpress Transportation Group. And a pin located on Google Maps said the home is also a business named Airport-Mayfield Parking.

At least six vehicles — cars, pickup trucks and a high-end Mercedes — were parked in front and at the rear, including a large yellow construction vehicle.
A lone OPP cruiser sat at the front entranceway between two massive concrete pylons.
A release from the Town of Caledon on Jan. 18 said that the city won a case in Ontario Supreme Court against an illegal trucking firm located at 6086 and 6186 Mayfield Rd. under zoning and fill bylaws.
“The actions taken by our bylaw enforcement team demonstrates the town’s continued commitment to eliminate illegal trucking operations that negatively impact our town,” said Mark Sraga, director of building and municipal law enforcement, in a post on the Town of Caledon website, which was dated Jan. 23.
The investigation into the numbered companies named Mayfield Inc. and Ontario Inc. began in June 2020 after complaints about noise, debris and property alterations directly across from an established neighbourhood were brought to the town’s attention.
