The annual frightfest is ramping up the fear factor in its 20th season with a brand-new experience inspired by the The Conjuring and other films in the horror movie franchise.
The Conjuring: Beyond Fear will have guests “navigate iconic scenes” in the interactive attraction where they will encounter entities such as The Nun, The Crooked Man and The Ferryman, according to the press release.
The goal for guests is to “lock Annabelle back in her secure box,” by the end of the 20-minute challenge, which comes at an extra charge.
Halloween Haunt will also feature six haunted mazes, seven immersive scare zones and thrilling night rides.
Another first for the park is that the event will now be included with all park tickets and season passes.

However, haunted mazes will only be accessible to visitors with the purchase of a Haunted Attraction Pass.
As for The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, the attraction is not included with the regular admission or Haunted Attractions Pass, and requires an extra charge.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented FX artists, scare specialists, and horror designers to bring the terrifying film series to life.
A first round of auditions has already passed but Round 2 takes place on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the park.
