Cops find male with gunshot wound in Mount Dennis neighbourhood

A male is in hospital after police say he was found suffering from a gunshot wound in Mount Dennis on Saturday night.
Toronto Police said in a social media post that officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. in the area of Jane St. and Emmett Ave., south of Weston Rd.

When cops arrived at the scene, a male victim was located with a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was transported to hospital by paramedics.
Cops said the suspect fled the area. There was no description of the assailant.
