Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after an apparent knife fight in the Moss Park area.

Toronto Police said when officers responded to reports of two people fighting Sunday just before 1:30 p.m. in the Queen-Sherbourne Sts. area, they found an injured male, while another man was arrested nearby.

One of the wounded was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the man in custody was also hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police said both males appeared to have been stabbed and that the investigation was ongoing.

MAN, WOMAN CUFFED IN DRUG BUST

A man and a woman are facing multiple charges after police seized drugs and a handgun as part of a trafficking investigation.

Toronto Police said they made the arrests Tuesday after the drug squad executed search warrants at two separate addresses in the city.

Police said two grams of cocaine and two iPhones were allegedly seized during the first raid and a woman was arrested.

In addition to the arrest of a man, the second search allegedly netted a semiautomatic handgun with a magazine containing nine rounds of ammunition, an additional extended magazine, a holster, 130 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging and an iPhone.

Kayla Andrea Schetakis, 31, of Toronto, was charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of trafficking in a schedule 1 substance.

Brandon Bernard-Ricketts, 30, of Toronto, was charged with 12 offences including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited device, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and trafficking in a schedule 1 substance.

A cyclist is fighting for his life after an e-bike was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning in Etobicoke.

Toronto Police said officers responded to a collision at about 10:15 a.m. in the Lake Shore Blvd.-Thirty Third St. area after receiving reports of a cyclist being injured in the crash.

Police said the cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and that the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene.

MOTORCYCLIST SERIOUSLY HURT IN CRASH

A motorcyclist in their 30s is reportedly in a hospital with serious injuries after a crash Sunday in Etobicoke.

Toronto Police responded to a collision near North Queen St. and Manstor Rd., north of the Sherway Gardens mall, Sunday at about 3 p.m. which involved a motorcycle and a vehicle, CP24 reported.

Paramedics told CP24 that they transported an adult to a trauma centre in serious, but non-life-threatening condition. The driver remained on scene, CP24 reported, citing police.
