Police are looking for suspects after gun-toting thugs entered a Vaughan pharmacy and tried unsuccessfully to break into the store’s narcotics safe.
York Regional Police said officers were dispatched to the robbery in the Steeles Ave.-Bathurst St. area around 12:15 p.m. last Friday.
Four bandits entered a pharmacy with handguns and demanded access to narcotics. They were unsuccessful in opening the safe and fled in a waiting black sedan.
All suspects were described as Black male teenagers wearing dark clothing.

A 25-year-old Toronto man faces 11 charges in connection with an attempted robbery in the Weston Rd.-Sheppard Ave. W. area.
Toronto Police said that on Saturday at about 4:45 p.m., officers responded to an attempted robbery and allegedly found a man in possession of a loaded handgun.

A search warrant was then executed in the Sheppard-Jane St. area and officers allegedly recovered items of evidentiary value, including a handgun with an automatic firing switch.
Meiki Biggart has been charged with robbery with a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime and eight other firearm-related charges.
Police are also seeking U’nique Biggart, 24, of Toronto, who is wanted for five firearm-related offences. She is Black, between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot, weighs 150 pounds and has long black hair.

Police are on the hunt for a 48-year-old Toronto man accused of sexually assaulting someone and then removing his court-ordered monitoring device.
Toronto Police said the suspect was originally charged with several firearm-related offences on Sept. 4, 2024, before being released from custody with a monitoring device attached to his ankle.
Police alleged the device was removed Monday and accused the man of fleeing after sexually assaulting someone at a residence.
Gregory Golding is now wanted for assault, sexual assault and three counts of failure to comply with a release order. He is 5-foot-9 with a thin build and short black hair.
