Police originally said on Friday that officers were called at 8:30 p.m. Monday to a stabbing in the area of West Lodge Ave. and Queen St. W., east of Lansdowne Ave., where a suspect and victim had an argument.

WOMAN CRITICAL AFTER HIT-AND-RUN COLLISION IN WHITBY
A 23-year-old woman is in critical condition after being the victim of a hit-and-run collision in Whitby early Saturday morning.
Durham Regional Police say the woman was struck on Consumers Dr. between Brock St. and Garden St. at approximately 6:20 a.m. and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking for help locating a four door 2010 silver Jaguar XF that may have damage to the right passenger side.

It was last seen being driven westbound on Victoria St. W. from Brock St. S.

TWO SERIOUSLY INJURED IN SEPARATE HIT-AND-RUNS IN PEEL
Two men are in life-threatening condition following separate hit-and-run collisions Friday night in Peel Region.
Peel Regional Police said a man in his 40s was struck by car at approximately 8:20 p.m. in the Dixie Rd. and Steeles Ave. area of Brampton.
Police said the victim was taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition.
The driver remained on scene, cops added.
Hours later, a man in his 20s was also struck by a vehicle in Mississauga.
Police said the pedestrian was hit at 11:40 p.m. in the area of Dundas St. and Old Carriage Rd. and was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police said the driver and vehicle did not remain at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, cops added.
