Police are trying to identify a suspect accused of stealing house keys from someone who was at a Toronto hospital, then breaking into the home and stealing various personal items.

Police said the victims’ keys were taken while they were at a hospital.
Cops said that on June 21, an unknown male suspect used the keys to gain access to the victim’s house before stealing various items.
The suspect is described as having a heavy build and a moustache. He was last seen wearing glasses, a blue baseball cap, blue jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Police are looking for a suspect accused of uttering threats.
Toronto Police said officers responded last Saturday to a call for a threatening in the Yonge St.-St. Clair Ave. area.

Police alleged that the suspect and victim had planned to meet in person. They had a disagreement, however, and didn’t meet. Cops said the suspect then allegedly sent threatening messages to the victim through social media.

WOMAN CHARGED IN IMMIGRATION FRAUD PROBE
A 43-year-old Toronto woman has been charged following a fraud investigation involving fake immigration services.

Toronto Police alleged that between May 31, 2023, and May 31, 2025, the accused was offering immigration services in the Yonge St.-Eglinton Ave. area.
The accused allegedly provided immigration services to multiple victims for Canadian citizenship applications and work permits. The victims would pay the accused and were provided with government documents. Cops said the victims would later learn that the services were not legitimate and the documents were deemed to be fraudulent.
On Tuesday, Maria Curpuz was charged with three counts each of fraud under $5,000 and false pretense under $5,000 and two counts of uttering a forged document.
