Toronto Police said they responded to a person with a knife call May 11 at about 3:45 a.m. in the Jane St.-Yewtree Blvd. area after the suspect boarded a TTC bus and didn’t pay the fare. He complied after being asked to pay the fare by the driver and then sat at the back of the bus.
Police said the suspect later approached the driver before exiting the bus eastbound on Yewtree and threatened them with bodily harm while displaying a knife.

The suspect is between 30 and 40 years old and has shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt, grey cargo sweatpants and white sneakers.

MAN SHOT IN NORTH YORK
Toronto Police are probing an early morning shooting that left a man injured in North York.
Police said on social media that they responded to a shooting Sunday at about 6:10 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the G Ross Lord Park area near Finch Ave. W. and Dufferin St., where they found a male victim.

A 22-year-old Toronto man is facing mischief charges after an alleged antisemitic incident in the Beaches.
Toronto Police said they received a call June 6 at about 11:30 a.m. in the Woodbine Ave.-Queen St. E. area about a suspected hate-motivated incident that happened two days earlier at a place of worship.
Police said a suspect approached its front steps June 4 at about 10:30 p.m. and urinated on the property while allegedly shouting antisemitic slurs before fleeing.
Domenic Buchanan was arrested Friday and charged with mischief relating to religious property and mischief/interfere with property.

Cops are on the hunt for a suspect after a 30-year-old man was stabbed early Sunday in the downtown area.

Toronto Police said on social media that they responded to a stabbing in the Queen-Church Sts. area at about 4:45 a.m. and found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they are looking for a 5-foot-9 suspect with blond hair, a goatee, a white shirt and black shorts.
