Toronto Police said they responded to a motor vehicle collision Aug. 6 at about 1 p.m. in the Stanley Greene-Downsview Park Blvds. area of North York, where the accused and the victim were travelling together in a vehicle before an altercation took place between the two.
Police said the accused, a passenger, allegedly shot the driver and that the vehicle collided with another vehicle that was travelling in the opposite direction.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said a search warrant was issued and a loaded firearm was allegedly seized.
Feisal Jibril was arrested Saturday and charged with discharging a firearm with intent, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and other offences.

MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGED SEX ASSAULT ON BUS
A 26-year-old Toronto man accused of sexually assaulting a fellow passenger on a TTC bus has been arrested.
Toronto Police said they received a report of a sexual assault Aug. 3 at about 9 p.m., when a man assaulted the victim on a bus and was last seen exiting the vehicle in the Islington Ave.-Fenley Dr. area with a bike.
Sheshamraju Sarikonda was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual assault and committing an indecent act in a public place.
Investigators believe there may be more victims and ask anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-2300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 or 222tips.com.
A 41-year-old Pickering man has surrendered to police as part of an internet child exploitation investigation.

Toronto Police said the probe began in December 2024 with help from the Queensland Police Service Argos after the accused was allegedly communicating online to gain access to someone under 16 years old.
Police said the accused used the username of “Cravingjocks” on various social media platforms and that a search warrant was executed Jan. 8 in the Whites Rd.-Finch Ave. area of Pickering.
Peter Patlakas was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of child pornography, making child pornography and other offences.
