Toronto Police allege a man spoke to a woman and followed her on the walking trails at Earl Bales Public Park – near Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. W. – on multiple occasions between April 28 and May 9.
The man waited for the woman outside of a public washroom and continued to follow and run after her several times, police claim.
It’s further alleged the same man followed another woman into a public washroom at the Barbara Frum Public Library – near Bathurst St. and Lawrence Ave. W. – on June 12.
The man allegedly sexually assaulted her before a staff member was able to assist the woman and take her to a place of safety after the man fled the area.
Investigators subsequently identified and arrested a suspect on June 12.
Arnold Edzodzomo, of Toronto, is charged.
