A 29-year-old man faces sexual assault and criminal harassment charges in connection with several incidents in North York

Toronto Police allege a man spoke to a woman and followed her on the walking trails at Earl Bales Public Park – near Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. W. – on multiple occasions between April 28 and May 9.

The man waited for the woman outside of a public washroom and continued to follow and run after her several times, police claim.

It’s further alleged the same man followed another woman into a public washroom at the Barbara Frum Public Library – near Bathurst St. and Lawrence Ave. W. – on June 12.

The man allegedly sexually assaulted her before a staff member was able to assist the woman and take her to a place of safety after the man fled the area.

Investigators subsequently identified and arrested a suspect on June 12.

Arnold Edzodzomo, of Toronto, is charged.

MAN, 26, FACES CHARGES STEMMING FROM MISSISSISSAUGA FIGHT

A 26-year-old man faces 10 charges in connection with an altercation at a licenced premise in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police say a fight broke out between an unknown man, believed to have a firearm, and a victim near Dixie Rd. and Eglinton Ave. W. around 1:30 a.m. on April 27.

But the unknown man fled the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators subsequently identified a suspect and arrested him on May 28, allegedly seizing an illegal firearm and a quantity of opioid drugs at the time.

MAN, 21, FACES GUN, DRUG CHARGES AFTER DOWNTOWN BUST

Numerous guns, ammunition and drugs were allegedly taken off the street when recently cops busted a 21-year-old man downtown.

Toronto Police say the arrest was made when 51 Division Major Crime Unit officers executed two search warrants in the area of Church St. and Dundas St. E. on June 6.

Investigators allegedly seized four prohibited firearms, 833 rounds of ammunition, a bulletproof vest, a Taser, and various amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin.

Daniel Deris, of Toronto, is charged with a slew of gun and drug-related offences.
