Police say, on June 16 at 4 p.m., officers were called to the area of Mt. Pleasant Rd. and St. Clair Ave. for an assault.

Cops say the suspect approached two victims, making anti-gay remarks and then assaulted the victims.

The suspect is described as wearing a beige shirt, black shorts, and pink shoes.

Police are treating this as a hate-motivated offence.

WOMAN KILLED IN MISSISSAUGA STABBING: COPS

Homicide investigators have been called after a woman was killed in what appears to be a stabbing incident in Mississauga on Saturday, police say.

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the Glen Erin and Windwood Drs. area following reports of a disturbance.

In a social media update Saturday evening, police say the female victim was pronounced dead and a male suspect is in custody.

TTC PASSENGER ROBBED, SEXUALLY ASSAULTED: COPS

A man is wanted for a robbery and sexual assault on a TTC subway car.

Toronto Police say, just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to Wilson Subway Station.

While onboard the train, the suspect approached a passenger and stole their phone, but the victim later got their phone back, police allege.

The suspect then approached another passenger and attempted to steal her phone and physically and sexually assaulted the passenger, cops added.

The suspect didn’t manage to steal the phone and left the subway at Wilson Station.

The suspect is described as male, 18 to 22 years of age, 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He wore a black “Northface brand” jacket, dark-coloured pants and white shoes.

WOMAN ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING TTC WORKER

Toronto Police need help identifying a woman wanted for a suspected hate-motivated assault and uttering threats.

On Tuesday, police officers were called to the TTC’s Wilson Subway Station after a transit employee reported being assaulted.

The suspect threw alcohol on the employee and was uttering threats and using derogatory language and anti-South Asian racial slurs, police allege.

The victim and suspect don’t know each other, cops added.

The suspect is described as a female with a heavy build, 5-foot-2 with shoulder length dark brown hair.

At the time, the suspect was wearing a blue denim jacket, pink top, red shorts, black and white sneakers while carrying a cross body satchel.

The suspect was with an unknown male.

MAN WANTED FOR ROBBERY IN SCARBOROUGH

Toronto Police are trying to identify a man wanted in a robbery investigation.

On June 21 at approximately 8:30 p.m., police were called to a robbery in the Kingston Rd. and Morningside Ave. area.

Police say the suspect entered a store and selected items. The suspect then attacked an employee and fled the store with the goods.

The man is described as being in his early 20s with a thin build and brown curly hair. He was wearing a red T-shirt and black jogging pants.

MAN SNAPPED PICS IN CHANGEROOM: COPS

A man is facing a voyeurism charge following an alleged incident in Etobicoke late last month.

On June 27, Toronto Police responded to a call at a retail business in the area of North Queen St. and The Queensway.

Police say a woman was in a changeroom and noticed a cell phone being held under the stall wall.

The suspect appeared to take images of the victim and then fled.

On Friday, Aleksander Sledinszki, 50, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with voyeurism.

MAN STABBED IN MISSISSAUGA, WOMAN IN CUSTODY

A man was stabbed and sent to hospital Saturday afternoon in Mississauga, police say.

In a social media update, Peel Regional Police say the incident occurred in the Derry and Rexwood Rd. area.

Police say a woman is in custody.

SUSPECTS WANTED IN ARSON INVESTIGATION

Toronto Police are looking for two suspects in an east end arson investigation.

On Wednesday at approximately 4 a.m., police officers were called to a fire in the Eastern and Knox Aves. area.

Cops allege two suspects went to a business and broke the front window with a rock. The suspects then used an accelerant from bottles to set the business on fire.

The suspects fled in a small black, square-backed SUV.

The suspects are both described as male, 20 to 30 years old, with slim builds, and were wearing black hoodies, sweatpants and sneakers.

SUSPECTS WANTED FOR DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

Peel Regional Police are asking for help identifying the suspect and vehicle involved in a Brampton shooting.

On Tuesday at approximately 10 p.m., police say the suspect or suspects were in the area of Airport Rd. and Braydon Blvd. and shot a firearm at a residence and nearby vehicles.

The suspects then fled southbound on Airport Rd. in a vehicle.

There were no injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model white sedan with a black roof.

MAN ARRESTED FOR EAST END ASSAULT

Toronto Police have made an arrest following an assault in the east end.

On Thursday at 1:30 p.m., police officers were called to Gerrard St. and Victoria Park Ave. where the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal fight.

The suspect slapped, strangled and punched the victim several times, cops say.

The suspect and victim are known to one another.

On Saturday, the suspect turned himself in to police.

Christopher Anderson, 39, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, assault/choking, and theft under $5,000.

MAN RECOVERING AFTER BENG SHOT IN DURHAM

A 37-year-old man is recovering after being shot at a residence near Port Perry.

On Saturday just before 4 a.m., officers with Durham Regional Police were called to the village of Caesarea on Lake Scugog for a shooting and found a man with gunshot wounds inside the home.

The man was taken to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries and then airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital.

There is no suspect information at this time.

CHILD IN HOSPITAL AFTER COLLISION

A six-year-old child was seriously injured after a collision in Milton on Friday afternoon.

Halton Regional Police said a car and a pickup truck collided in the area of Regional Rd. 25 and Whitlock Ave. at 3:30 p.m.

The child was in the car and the extent of injuries is unknown.
