Cops are on the lookout for a male suspect accused of a hate-motivated assault in the city’s west end.

Toronto Police said they responded to an assault call June 27 at about 4 a.m. in the Bloor St. W.-Symington Ave. area, where the victim was riding their bicycle before the suspect pushed them off and knocked them to the ground.

The suspect assaulted the victim while yelling anti-Black slurs, threatened them and then took their bike.

The victim went to a hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they are seeking a light-skinned male who is about 5-foot-8 and between 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black backward baseball cap, white shirt, dark pants and white shoes.

COPS CRACK DOWN ON CARGO THEFT RING

Three people are facing theft-related charges after a crackdown on cargo heists in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said investigators located a stolen transport truck Monday in the Dixie Rd.-Meyerside Dr. area. While there, they allegedly found two transport trailers that had also been reported stolen.

Peel cops then arrested three people after an investigation with the help of the aerial support and K9 units and recovered $100,000 in stolen property along with truck and trailers, which had a combined value of $300,000.

Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42, Harmash Lal Dadra, 44, and Rajwant Singh, 31, were each charged with theft over $5,000, possession of break-in instruments and two counts each of possession of property obtained by crime.

Singh was also charged with two counts of breaching a conditional sentence.
