CRIME SCENE: New suspect photo released in Etobicoke double slaying

Police have released a new photo of a suspect wanted for murder after two women were found dead last week in Etobicoke.

Joseph Ayala, 33, is wanted on two counts of second-degree murder and is believed to now be wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes. He is 5-foot-11 and has a shaved head.

Police responded to a well-being check on Friday at about 1 p.m. in the Sheldon-Silvercrest Aves. area of Etobicoke, where a 60-year-old woman and an 82-year-old woman were found dead.

VICTIMS ROBBED DURING DATING APP MEETUPS

Police are are looking for three suspects wanted after an armed robbery on Hamilton Mountain.

Hamilton Police said they were investigating a robbery on Friday evening in the Concession-East 36 Sts. area.

Police said the victim was contacted on a dating app to arrange a meeting. When the victim got to the meeting, they were allegedly attacked by three suspects and held at gunpoint.

The victim’s phone was allegedly stolen and used to make a financial transaction.

A second victim was also allegedly attacked earlier by the same suspects.

The suspects randomly met the victim on the street and allegedly forced him at gunpoint to his home, where they took a gaming station.

The first suspect is 5-foot-9 with brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a grey sweater, grey pants and white crocs.

The second suspect is 5-foot-8 with curly brown hair. He was wearing grey shorts and white shoes.

The third suspect is 5-foot-8 and was wearing a black jacket and black pants.

COPS SEEKING SHOOTING SUSPECTS

Hamilton Police are investigating reports of shots fired in the city’s east end.

On Monday at 7 a.m., police were called to the area of St Andrews and Nicklaus Drs., but were unable to locate a crime scene or anyone with injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police asked that anyone in the area with surveillance or dashcam footage from Monday between 6:40 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. to contact police. Anyone with information is asked to call 905-546-2963.
