Toronto Police say officers responded after it was reported that two males knocked on the door of a residence near Sheppard Ave. E. and Kennedy Rd. and forced their way inside when the victims opened the door around 11:15 p.m.
It’s further reported one of the home invaders produced a knife and both males assaulted the two victims while making demands for cash.
It’s also reported the males took a cellphone before fleeing the area and both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for two males described as 20 to 30 years old. One of them has a tattoo on the inside lower part of his right bicep and a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm.
