Driver 'possibly ejected' from truck during fatal crash with TTC bus: Cops

A man is dead after a Tuesday evening crash involving a truck and a TTC bus near the Toronto Zoo.

Toronto Police said on social media that they responded just after 6 p.m. to reports of a two-vehicle collision that led to a driver being “possibly ejected” from his truck in the Meadowvale Rd.-Sheppard Ave. E. area of Scarborough.

Police said the male driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Sheppard was closed between Meadowvale and Idagrove Gate, while Meadowvale was closed between Dean Park and Zoo Rds. while police investigated the crash.
