Five suspects from the GTA — two men, a woman and two teenage boys — face charges for a violent bank heist in Woodstock on Tuesday.

“During the robbery, one member of the group brandished a firearm, striking a customer,” police said in a statement released Wednesday. “The employees and customers were forcibly confined in the bank and bound with zip-ties.”
The crooks fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
“One customer sustained minor injuries,” police said.
Working with the Woodstock Police Service, investigators from Peel’s Central Robbery Unit located the stolen vehicle in Mississauga a couple of hours after the holdup.

“Five suspects from the bank robbery were arrested at this time, including the driver of a second vehicle involved in the robbery,” police alleged. “An imitation firearm was recovered during the arrests.”
A search warrant was subsequently executed at a Mississauga residence and police alleged “offence-related property” was seized.
Anthony Mitchell, 19, of Maple, Elijah Cromwell, 19, of Brampton, and two Mississauga boys, 14 and 16, are charged with robbery, using an imitation firearm, wearing a disguise with intent and possession of property obtained by crime.
Daphne Tran, 21, of Mississauga, faces one count of robbery.
