Toronto Police are seeking an American man who allegedly didn’t take no for an answer and harassed a local woman.
It’s alleged the man began messaging the complainant in 2021, pursuing a relationship, despite being asked to stop. In August 2024, the complainant reported repeated unwanted communications from the man, who lives in Florida but entered Canada from the U.S.

It is further alleged that in December 2024, the man messaged the complainant that he was at her Dundas and Bloor Sts.-area apartment block and in January 2025, cops allege he attempted to gain access to her building.
In a release on Tuesday, cops identified the wanted man as Talha Sakrani, 39, of Florida. He’s described as having a thin build and slicked-back black hair.
Sakrani is believed to be in the Toronto area. If anyone knows his whereabouts, they are asked to contact police at 416-808-1100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at 222tips.com.
