GTA skinny-dipping club sparks outrage for allowing children

A club in the Greater Toronto Arena is being blasted online for allowing naked children to join.
GTA Skinnydippers has been around since 1993 but its existence became more widely known during this year’s Pride Parade, where it had a kiosk.
The Publica shared footage from the weekend, where the group appeared to be looking to sign up more members.
According to the club’s website, they have created a “safe and comfortable environment where families can enjoy wholesome naturist/nudist activities.”
It clarifies that its activities aren’t solely aimed at adults, nor are they a dating or matchmaking business.
“We are a nudist/naturist club, NOT a clothing optional club,” it explains.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian, and youngsters who are not potty-trained are asked to wear swim diapers.
The rules for adults are pretty common sense (no gawking, don’t monopolize a person’s time and space, show respect), as are the guidelines for being around children.
“Children in general wish to play with other children, not adults,” reads the rules. “Please conduct yourself accordingly. We will not tolerate any questionable actions with regard to children. If you do not come with children, it is generally acknowledged that you do not play with the children.”
However, that’s no small comfort to all those shocked that the club not only exists but allows kids.
“How is this legal?” the X account LibsofTikTok asked.
Another wrote, “This club should be investigated. This is created by a bunch of pedophiles.”
A third person commented, “Those that think that it’s ok for kids to be sexually exploited and exposed to nudity should be arrested immediately.”
The club points out that no “overt sexual activity” is permitted.
“Nude is not lewd, but combined with public sexual displays, degrades our image and is offensive,” it reads.

“We are NOT a swinger’s club and anyone caught recruiting other’s for these types of clubs will be removed and banned.”
The site also covers the issue of erections, and what a man should do if he gets one.
However, the club says it “rarely happens” but if one does, it’s no big deal because “erections are natural.”
Those walking around pool deck showing one off will be asked to leave but the club notes that “most men do not get aroused.”
