Hamilton man accused of beating senior with collapsible baton

A 32-year-old Hamilton man faces aggravated assault charges after what police are calling an unprovoked attack on a 70-year-old Hamilton man on Friday.

Cops say the victim was beaten with a collapsible baton on the head and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since been upgraded to stable.
