On Thursday, Toronto Police said the man is being sought for the murders of Ibrahim Handule, 26, and Deshawn Walters, 27, both of Toronto – the city’s 61st and 62nd homicide victims of the year.
“At this time, we cannot confirm whether this third individual was responsible for the death of Ibrahim or Deshawn, but we do know he was one of the shooters involved,” Homicide Det.-Sgt. Phillip Campbell alleged.
“We understand how distressing this situation is for the community. We share your commitment to bringing the person responsible for the senseless violence to justice.”

Police said one victim was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was transported to hospital where he later died.
The suspect is described as male, 18 years old to early 20s, short with a stocky build and dreadlocks with a beard.
“Somebody out there knows who this person is, where they are,” Insp. Jack Gurr, of 31 Division, said. “So I appeal to the public, please come forward, make the phone call, call Crime Stoppers if you are not comfortable, and help us locate this person.”

The investigation is ongoing, police added.
