Investigators need help tracking down a man who is suspected of sexually assaulting a female TTC passenger a couple of months ago.
Toronto Police say the incident occurred on a subway train in the area of Bloor St. W. and Spadina Ave. on May 15.
“It is reported that the suspect boarded a subway train at the same time as the victim and her friends. The suspect approached the victim and sexually assaulted her,” police alleged Wednesday.

Police said the female got off the train and the man believed to have sexually assaulted her remained on the westbound subway train.
Investigators have released several images of the suspect hoping someone recognizes him and comes forward.
The man is described as 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-8, with a heavy build, short black hair, and a black beard with a moustache.

He was wearing a red and black puffy jacket, a pink shirt, grey pants, black running shoes, and a grey and black backpack.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
