A 56-year-old man faces charges after a car was driven along a sidewalk in Brampton – a dangerous manoeuvre that was caught on video.
Peel Regional Police say the footage of a “reckless” driver went viral after it was shared online earlier this month.
“A video posted online showed a white Lexus sedan using the sidewalk to bypass traffic, narrowly avoiding pedestrians,” police said in a statement Wednesday, explaining officers from their Safe Roads Team began investigating the video and determined the incident occurred along Bovaird Dr. W., near Gillingham Dr., on June 11.
