An early morning fight on Thursday has left one man dead from stabbing injuries and Toronto Police fear a second person may also be injured.
Cops say they were called to the Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Islington Ave. area around 6 a.m. for reports of an altercation between a group of people.

“We’re been advised that a second individual, a second male, also suffered some stab wounds,” Duty Insp. Dan Pravica said.
“We’re concerned for that individual as he’s not made himself known to us. We do not believe he’s attended a local hospital or sought any medical help. We’re hoping to locate this person and have him get the medical help he allegedly needs.”
So far police don’t have anyone in custody and have not recovered a weapon. They also don’t know if those involved in the fight were known to each other.
Cops are canvassing for any dashcam, surveillance or cellphone video and witnesses and are asking anyone with information to call 416-808-2200 or Crime Stoppers.
