Man, 22, faces child porn charges

The accused was allegedly caught with child sexual abuse material in North York

A 22-year-old man faces charges after he was allegedly caught with child sexual abuse material in North York.

Toronto Police say Internet Child Exploitation Unit officers executed a search warrant in the area of Finch Ave. W. and Weston Rd., as part of an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material, on July 17.

“It is alleged that the accused was found to be in possession of child sexual abuse material on his personal electronic devices,” police said.

A suspect was subsequently identified and he was arrested on Friday.

Ujjval Parmar, of Toronto, is charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.
