In the most recent incident, Toronto Police say officers responded to a stabbing in the area of Weston Rd. and Eglinton Ave. W. just after 11 p.m. on March 30.
It’s alleged the victim was onboard a TTC bus when a man began interacting with them.
When the victim exited the bus in an attempt to get away, the man allegedly followed and repeatedly stabbed the victim in an unprovoked attack before fleeing.
Cops said the victim, who did not know the assailant, suffered serious injuries.
Police allege the same man is responsible for two other assaults that occurred last year.
In the first of those incidents, officers responded to an assault at Lawrence West TTC station, near Lawrence Ave. W. and Allen Rd., around 5 p.m. on April 19, 2024.
