A 29-year-old man allegedly claimed to be a surgeon and performed cosmetic procedures on women he met at a downtown park that he was not qualified to do.
Toronto Police say an investigation was launched after officers responded to an assault with a weapon call near Bay St. and Queens Quay around 4:20 p.m. on Friday.
“It is alleged that the accused introduced himself to four women at a dog park in the area,” Const. Shannon Eames said in a statement released Saturday, adding the man allegedly “identified himself as Harvey Archambeau, a surgeon at a local hospital.”
She said the man offered to perform cosmetic procedures on the woman at his residence.
The women allegedly went to the man’s home and received what they believed was Botox, Ozempic, and Salmon DNA injections.
The woman were “suspicious” of the man’s behaviour and then found out he was allegedly “not qualified to provide the cosmetic procedures,” Eames said, explaining the women then contacted the police.
