A 30-year-old man has been arrested for a deadly stabbing last month in St Catharines.
Niagara Regional Police say officers responded to the stabbing on Niagara St. – between Church St. and Welland Ave. – around 4:30 a.m. on March 30 and found a man suffering from life-threatening stab wounds.

The victim, Victor Clayton, 56, was rushed to hospital where he died two days later.
Rohan Chandler, of no fixed address, was initially wanted for attempted murder but the charge was upgraded when the victim died.
The accused, who was arrested Tuesday in Peterborough, is charged with second-degree murder and failure to comply with a probation order.
