Man, 35, arrested for gun-related offences in East York

A 35-year-old man is under arrest after allegedly pulling a gun on someone in East York on Friday.
Toronto police say officers responded to a call for a person with a gun in the area of Danforth and Woodbine Aves. around 3 p.m.
“It is alleged that the suspect made arrangements to meet up with the victim,” Const. Shannon Eames said in a statement released Saturday.
She said the suspect allegedly showed the victim what appeared to be a firearm and then fled the area.

The suspect was identified as Daryl Michael Boyd.
In an update Saturday evening, police said the suspect was placed under arrest.
The Toronto man is charged with one count each of carrying a concealed weapon and weapons dangerous, and two counts of breaching a recognizance order.
He is scheduled to make a court appearance on Sunday morning.
