“Shortly after, the homeowner was notified by a neighbour that an unknown pickup truck was parked on the homeowner’s driveway and someone was seen walking around with a flashlight,” Const. Kevin Nebrija said in a statement released Friday.

When the homeowner went outside to investigate the truck, he said the man exited the house, assaulted the homeowner and then fled the scene.

The homeowner suffered minor injuries in the struggle, Nebrija said.
