Man, 38, faces child porn charges after cops search midtown address

A 38-year-ol man Faces child pornography-related charges after cops searched a midtown address last week.

Toronto Police say Internet Child Exploitation Unit officers executed a search warrant Wednesday in the area of Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave. as part of an investigation into the suspected downloading of child sexual abuse material from the internet.

“It is alleged that a user uploaded a quantity of child pornography to the internet,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a statement released Saturday.

“It is further alleged that a quantity of child pornography was also located on devices seized after a search at the residence,” she added.

Investigators subsequently identified and arrested a suspect.

Christopher Gustafson, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of accessing child pornography and one count of making available child pornography.
