Toronto Police say the women came forward on Wednesday alleging they were sexually assaulted a day earlier in the area of Keele St. and Wilson Ave. by a man who contacted them about “an employment opportunity.”
The women met the man and were allegedly “transported in a vehicle to the location of the job,” Det. Stephen Yung said in a statement released Saturday.
Once at the location, he said the women claim they were “both sexually assaulted” by the man.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect and arrested him on Friday.
Rafael Martinez Moreno, of Toronto, is charged with three counts of sexual assault, forcible confinement, assault, and two counts of disobeying a court order.
