Toronto Police said between April 28 and May 9, a man approached and engaged a victim in conversation, then allegedly followed her on the walking trails at Earl Bales Park. He also allegedly waited for the victim outside of a public washroom before continuing to follow and run after her several times.
The man and the victim were not known to each other.
The same man is also accused of following a woman into a public washroom at the Barbara Frum public library, in the Lawrence Ave. W.-Bathurst St. area, on June 12 before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
A staff member was able to assist the victim and take her to a safe place before the man fled from the scene.
