A 38-year-old man faces firearms charges after he allegedly pulled a gun on someone in North York on Sunday night.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for a person with a gun in the area of Keele St. and Finch Ave. around 11 p.m.

“It is alleged that the suspect had brandished a gun to the complainant,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a statement released Wednesday.

She said the complainant called police and the armed man fled the scene. Police did not say how the pair knew each other.

McCann said responding officers located a suspect and allegedly seized a loaded handgun.

Moussa Osman, of Toronto, is charged with possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without holding a licence or registration certificate; possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration certificate; possession of a loaded regulated firearm; use/handle/store firearm carelessly; use/handle/store ammunition carelessly; and three counts of possess of a firearm while prohibited.
