Man in 60s found with life-threatening injuries in downtown core

A man in his 60s has life-threatening injuries after police said he was found with wounds in Toronto’s downtown core late Saturday afternoon.
Toronto Police said on social media that the victim was located by officers near Sherbourne and Shuter Sts. at around 5:50 p.m.

Medics assessed his injuries and transported him to hospital where he is listed in life-threatening condition.
Police said a male is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
The northbound lanes of Sherbourne St. between Shuter St. and Queen St. E. were blocked, cops added.
