Gunshots rang out in two neighbourhoods in the northwest end of the city leaving one man wounded early Saturday.
And one of the shootings occurred in the same community where an 18-year-old man was injured in a wild gunbattle barely 24 hours earlier.
Toronto Police the first shooting unfolded in Coronation Park – near Black Creek Dr. and Trethewey Dr. – around 1:15 a.m.
A man in his 30s showed up at a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, but cops say his injury was not considered life-threatening.
No suspect information was immediately released.
A separate shooting occurred about 90 minutes later near Jane St. and Wilson Ave.
Police say two men got into an argument that led to an exchange of gunfire.
Both men fled the area before officers arrived on scene, but evidence of a firearm discharge was found.
No injuries were reported in that incident.
However, that shootout erupted less than 28 hours after an 18-year-old man was wounded in a gunbattle that left a highrise on Chalkfarm Dr. – also near Jane St. and Wilson Ave. – riddled with bullet holes.

According to police statistics, there had been 325 shooting incidents as of Sept. 4 – up substantially from the 219 such incidents during the same period in 2023.
Not including the numerous shootings in the city over the last 10 days, 33 people have been killed and 82 injured by gunfire so far this year.
Anyone with information about any of these shootings is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
