An unidentified man is wanted for sexually assaulting a stranger at a TTC station in the city’s west end early Saturday.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a sex assault call in the area of Keele St. and Bloor St. W. around 1:40 a.m.
“It is reported that the victim and suspect were inside the TTC Keele Subway Station on the westbound platform,” Const. Shannon Eames said.
She said the man allegedly assaulted the victim, pulled her to the ground, then sexually assaulted her.
“A witness interrupted the assault and the suspect fled the area on foot,” Eames said, explaining the female suffered “minor injuries.”
“The victim and suspect are not known to each another,” she added.
Police are looking for a man who is described as 5-foot-6, with a medium-to-heavy build and brown facial hair. He was wearing a green/beige jacket, black jeans, black running shoes, a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Toronto Raptors” logo, and a purple baseball hat with a yellow brim and a “Minnesota Vikings” logo on the front.

Investigators have released a security camera image of a suspect hoping members of the public recognize him and come forward.
Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is urged to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
