Police said officers in Peel and Halton identified two females last month who were unknown to each other and alleged they had been sexually trafficked throughout the Golden Horseshoe area.
The suspect exercised control over aspects of their lives while profiting financially from it, cops alleged.
Following an investigation, police said it was determined that the suspect was living in the Niagara Region, and with the assistance of police in Niagara, he was located and arrested.
Human trafficking units in Peel and Halton then executed two search warrants at residences in Thorold.
