Canada’s Wonderland has unveiled its new season’s highlights which include a new giant boomerang waterslide called Moosehorn Falls inside the theme park’s Splash Works opening May 25.

Moosehorn Falls, which is inspired by waterfalls on the Broad River along the Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park, N.B., will see guests on rafts “travel down a rushing river cascade of twists, turns and drops before being propelled to the summit of a zero-gravity, 13-metre wall,” according to a news release.
– A season passholder preview on April 21 before the park opens to the public on May 3.
– Fireworks on May 19, June 30, July 1, Aug. 4, and Sept. 1 as the park is adding a second fireworks show to the Canada Day long weekend (June 30 and July 1), along with returning displays on Victoria Day, Civic and Labour Day long weekends.
– Splash Works opens on May 25 and the 20-acre water park not only features the new Moosehorn Falls boomerang waterslide but also 18 slides, cliff jumping, water playgrounds, the Lazy River and more.

– Celebration Canada from June 28-July 7 including two nights of fireworks, June 30 and July 1 at 10 p.m.
– SickKids Day at Canada’s Wonderland on July 11, which is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the hospital.
– KidZfest from July 13-28, which is a family friendly party in partnership with Treehouse with special guest appearances from TV characters like Peppa Pig, interactive games, activities, live kids’ entertainment and additional meet-and-greets with Marvel superheroes.
– Oktoberfest, which is expanding to three weekends Sept. 6-8, Sept. 13-15, Sept. 20-22 and will see guests treated to German-themed food, drink specials and traditional festival bands.
– Camp Spooky, on weekends Sept. 28-Oct. 27, which is a family-friendly Halloween event with trick-or-treating, mazes, costume parades, live shows with The PEANUTS Gang, interactive games and rides.
