Meanwhile, Halton Regional Police are looking for assistance from the public in identifying the driver of a motorcycle who failed to stop for cops.
An officer was conducting proactive patrols on Aug. 10 in the Millcroft area of Burlington, as a result of recent traffic complaints, police said.

At approximately 3 p.m., a motorcycle was observed speeding, weaving back and forth and not stopping at a stop sign in the area of Sarazen Dr. and Couples Cr. The officer attempted to stop the motorcycle, however, the driver sped off at a high rate of speed and fled the area.
The motorcycle is described as a black sport bike with an Ontario licence plate.

The driver of the motorcycle is described as male, white, approximately 20-35, average height with a stocky build. He was wearing a black helmet, black T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the driver is asked to call the investigator at 905-825-4777, ext. 2391, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
