A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a dump truck Tuesday afternoon in King Township.
And investigators are appealing for witnesses to the deadly crash to come forward.
York Regional Police say the two-vehicle collision occurred in the area of King Rd. and 10th Concession Rd. – just west of Nobleton – around 3:40 p.m.
The man riding the motorcycle, a Vaughan resident whose name was not released, died at the scene, Const. Kevin Nebrija said in a statement Wednesday.
He said the driver of the dump truck, who was uninjured, remained on site after the crash.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who has information, or who may have dashcam footage of the area around the time of the collision, Nebrija said, explaining the investigation is “ongoing.”
