York Regional Police say gunfire erupted in a plaza parking lot near a sports bar on Interchange Way – close to Hwy. 7 – shortly after 1 a.m. on Sept. 10.
“Responding officers observed blood at the scene and recovered numerous shell casings, but no victims were located,” Const. Maniva Armstrong said in a statement released Wednesday.
Soon after, she said, police learned a man was dropped off at a Toronto hospital suffering from “multiple gunshot wounds.”
Danta’e Gordon, 20, and Dequon Lemonious, 25 — both of Toronto — are wanted for firearms offences.
Investigators have released an image of a vehicle believed to be connected with the shooting, described as a 2019 to 2023 white Acura RDX.
