Toronto cops have released images of two males wanted for what police are calling “suspected hate-motivated mischief” late last month in the city’s northwest end.
On April 26 at about 3:35 a.m., officers responded to a radio call for mischief to a vehicle in the Steeles Ave. W. and Martin Grove Rd. area of Etobicoke.
Police say the vehicle was parked in a driveway when it was “vandalized extensively” with “paint and anti-Muslim slurs etched into (it).”
The suspect images were captured by the vehicle’s video camera.
The first male is described as wearing a baseball hat, surgical mask, dark-coloured jacket, dark-coloured pants, boots and gloves.

The second suspect had a moustache and wore sunglasses, a dark-coloured hooded sweater with the hood up, a red or orange-coloured jacket, light-coloured pants, running shoes, and gloves. He was also armed with a sledgehammer.

The pair’s vehicle is believed to be an older, dark-coloured Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The two male are wanted for suspected hate-motivated mischief over $5,000.
