Raptors and Pizza Pizza team up for dinosaur-sized Mega Slice

To commemorate the 30th season of the Toronto Raptors, Pizza Pizza, the official pizza and an official sponsor of the Raptors since 1999, has introduced the Raptors Mega Slice.

Billed as ” a slice as big as your fandom,” the new offering is 20 inches of either pepperoni or cheese pizza and goes for $12.99. It comes in a limited-edition, Raptors-branded box.

The Raptors Mega Slice began being served on Nov. 18 at Pizza Pizza locations in Ontario and will be offered for a limited time throughout the season.

Pizza Pizza also brought back this season its “Score a Slice” promotion. Whenever the Raptors score 100 points at home, fans attending the game can “Score a Slice,” which can be redeemed the following day through the Pizza Pizza app.

There are a number of promotions involving the Raptors for this special season. From the outstanding court unveiled for Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves that had a Vince Carter tie-in, to partnerships with the likes of Coors Light, McDonald’s, a 30th anniversary coin with Highland Mint and more.

The team also has a number of theme nights planned that will feature various programming, giveaways and in-game entertainment. The home opener and Vince Carter jersey retirement were two of those nights, as was Thursday’s first Greatest of All Toronto night (there will be four more of those).

Others include 90’s Decade Night (Feb. 5), Dunkaversary Night (Feb. 12, celebrating the 25-year anniversary of Carter’s slam dunk contest win), Giants of Africa Game (Dec. 5), 2000’s Decade Night (March 7) , Pride Night (March 23) and more.
