A tow truck was shot at early Monday near Marilyn Bell Park along the waterfront.
Toronto Police say the incident happened at 2:30 a.m. in the area of Lake Shore Blvd. and British Columbia Rd.
Police say there were no injuries.
A black vehicle was seen fleeing the scene.
There have been a rash of shootings involving tow trucks.
Police say conflicts involving the towing industry in recent years have been about territorial disputes and rivalries.
